Damien has been in practice for over 13 years in a variety of settings including private psychiatric hospitals, his own private practice in Sydney, and recently in a Canberra private practice. He brings a warm and empathetic approach to therapy, emphasises engagement in the world and encourages clients to find the choices they have where they see none. Damien has gained extensive experience working with adults with mood and anxiety disorders, utilising a range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy. Damien has significant experience working with clients from the Defence Forces(Garrison Health and BUPA ADF), Comcare, NSW Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident Authority (now SIRA). Damien holds a Masters of Clinical Psychology, is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists. Damien is available Monday to Friday and is a registered Medicare Provider.
