Additional information

Our vision is that everyone who comes to Swift Speech and Stuttering will be supported to let your voice soar. Sometimes your speech difficulty can be changed; sometimes it cannot, but there is always potential to soar to new heights, to participate more fully not just “in spite of” but often “because of” the difficulties you have had with speaking. Let us join you on this journey. We would love to walk it with you. Our team consists of two speech pathologists with experience and passion in the area of fluency disorders: Dr Michelle Swift has over 15 years experience as a speech pathologist and taught for over 10 years at Australian and international Universities in the area of fluency disorders. She has completed both a PhD and postdoctoral research in treatment of stuttering. Eleanor Brasted is a speech pathologist with a background in the performing arts, including over 15 years experience as a singing teacher. She has an empathetic and creative clinical style, which she combines with a strong evidence based approach. In addition to fluency disorders, Eleanor has a passion for working with voice disorders and has completed Voice-craft training.
