Dr Stephanie Burke is the founder of My Natural Wellness and is a fully qualified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. She is registered with the Chinese Medicine Regulation Board (CMRB) of Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and is an accredited member of The Federation of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Societies of Australia (FCMA) and also holds a current Working with Children Check. Stephanie turned to Chinese Medicine following her own personal health conditions. After experiencing the effectiveness of this medicine first hand, she developed a passion for natural therapies and is excited to help others achieve their own health goals. She completed her double degree in BAppSC (Chinese Medicine) and BAppHS (Health Sciences) at RMIT and her clinical internship at the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. Stephanie has furthered her studies by undertaking specialist courses in Scalp Acupuncture, Pulse diagnosis, Pain reduction therapies and Cosmetic Acupuncture. As a mother of three nearly grown up boys she has a first hand understanding of the health challenges of children, women and men. Stephanie is passionate about helping people and has a special interest in the treatment of pain, gastro-intestinal issues, emotional conditions, fertility and weight-loss. She is a dedicated practitioner with a strong desire to provide fast and effective treatment care to all her clients, in a safe, understanding and comfortable environment. Integrating her knowledge and the vast resources in western and Chinese medicine, along with her insightful and gentle approach to clients, Stephanie is confident she can assist you in your health matters.
