Kate completed her Master degree in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University, and has attained endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychological Board of Australia. She has had clinical experience in a range of settings, including private practice as well as rehabilitation and hospitals, and has worked with individuals across the lifespan. Kate has experience working with trauma and is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). In session, she utilises a range of evidence-based therapies including; - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), - Psychodynamic Therapy, - Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), - Exposure-based Response Prevention Therapy - Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Kate is committed to providing the highest quality service to each of her clients. She believes it is vital that clinicians work in a respectful and collaborative manner with clients, walking alongside them ever-mindful of their own personal values. Kate seeks to integrate the ever-evolving body of psychological knowledge with a warm and humanistic client-centered approach to therapy.
