Lauren McKeogh

Lauren is a Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with experience delivering a wide range of psychological services. Lauren works with people of all ages with a diverse range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem, grief and loss, substance use and addiction, trauma, abuse, and children with behavioural and emotional regulation concerns, and social skills deficits. Lauren uses a range of therapeutic models depending on the needs and goals of the client including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Treatment is guided by an evidence based approach to mental health and wellbeing that is empathetic and collaborative. Lauren is committed to providing a safe and non-judgemental space for her clients. Lauren is respectful of each clients individual needs and goals and is committed to working with her clients to assist them in meeting these goals. This approach assists clients in achieving their goals and gaining an understanding of themselves and their own lived experiences.
