Dr Gabrielle Ryan

Dr Gabrielle Ryan has completed extensive undergraduate and postgraduate training in Psychology, including a Masters of Clinical Psychology and PhD at the University of NSW. She is involved in research aimed at understanding vulnerability and resilience to anxiety disorders and has several publications to her name. Gabrielle is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Clinically, Gabrielle specialises in treating anxiety and stress, depression, and difficulties with adjustment to life changes. She works with individuals, athletes, and corporate clients to increase mental health awareness, improve resilience, enhance performance, and promote wellbeing. She has experience in private practice, specialist anxiety units, inpatient and outpatient settings, and corporate workshops. Gabrielle is passionate about working with athletes – a legacy of her time competing for Australia in sailing. Her experience as an athlete and a coach gives her unique insight into the challenges athletes face and the mindset they need to perform. Gabrielle consults with the NSW Institute of Sport and is a provider of services to the Australian Institute of Sport Mental Health Referral Network. Gabrielle founded Milo and the Calf to make psychological services more accessible. She wanted to offer bulk-billing for eligible clients and online therapy (aka Telehealth) so that all Australians can access specialist services regardless of their location.
