Dr. Jillian Devlin

Jillian is a general psychiatrist with a compassionate, warm and gentle manner and is known as a great listener with non-judgemental and collaborative support. Jillian works with patients of all backgrounds to help with a variety of problems including depression, anxiety, psychosis, schizophrenia, eating disorders, bipolar affective disorder, personality disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Jillian works with Dialectical behavioural therapy, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Psychodynamic psychotherapy (how the past affects the present) and Self-compassion. Jillian has extensive experience working with adolescents and enjoys working with them through life’s tough issues. Jillian specializes in emotional wellness at preconception, pregnancy and the first year after birth, known as the Perinatal period. Jillian is a Circle of Security trainer which is a parent program for empowering caregivers to provide a secure base and safe haven for their children. Jillian also enjoys teaching medical students in the field of psychiatry.
